Mountdream December 12th, 2006

Ingo and Camila came for a visit during the weekend! We went to the national park for some snowshoeing and had TONS of fun going up the mountain into Dream Lake - it was cold, dark and windy there - but sunny and gorgeous on the trail. Going to the cabin, we saw a coyote trying to get really close to the elks, and one of them chase him away.

Back in town, we went to Red Rocks and also Dinosaur Ridge for a quick tour before taking them back to the airport. Thanks for visiting you two! We had a great time A few pics!

Mountdream November 20th, 2006

It was a beautiful day and we HAD to go for a hike! Check some images!

We took Cheyenne and headed for the Mesa Trail, just south of Boulder. I haven't been to the trail since moving to Evergreen! Not much has changed, except that Cheyenne can hike off-leash (he has to wear a special tag that shows he is a good boy that comes when called).

We are hoping to get out over the Thanksgiving Holiday—maybe some snowshoeing!
