We've finished the first part of the bird garden. Na and I have put in the raised bed for the Viburnum, buried the bottom of the birdbath (the birds Love the new bath), and planted a couple of new bushes and perennials. We've already had humming birds—first time down in W.R.
working hard!

Next: lay more stones for the flower garden. Just thinking about it makes my back ache!
Peace to all,

Look! The grass is turning green, the buds are flowering, and the vegetable garden is shaping up! Finally, the dogs are not bring in dry grass from the winter yard.

Vegetable garden almost ready for planting.
Now, if we can focus on taking some weekend time off for ourselves. Today we are suppose to have 80˚ weather, snow/rain tomorrow, then back to beautiful weather for the weekend. Hopefully a nice long bike ride is in the near future.

We spent the weekend tilling and leveling out the gardens. Goodness, that takes a lot of work! The two areas look much nicer now. Na will post a picture in a bit. The buds on the pear tree are starting to show, and the apple trees are beginning to green.

We are finalizing the patio plans. I've been working on the design for over the past year (or so)—you know me, I can't plan enough! We've found a very nice young man to help with the hard part (leveling, putting in the base, taking out the old concrete) Here are the plans so far…

New patio to be put in June/July.
And here are the passion fruits seedlings!
I've an acupuncture appointment tonight—to much hard work
Love to all,
